Swathi was born on April 19, 1987, in Vladivostok, Russia, to Indian parents. Her father, an officer in the Indian Navy, was stationed in the Soviet Union at the time of her birth. She spent her childhood in Mumbai and later moved to Visakhapatnam, where she completed her schooling at St. Francis De Sales’ School. Swathi pursued her higher education in Biotechnology at St. Mary's College, Hyderabad.
