Sandeepa Dhar was born on February 2, 1989, in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India, into a Kashmiri Pandit family. She received her early education at St. Michael’s Convent High School, ITI Mankapur, and National Public School, Indiranagar. Later, she pursued her higher education at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.
Sandeepa Dhar made her acting debut in 2010 with the Hindi film Isi Life Mein.
